Ash and the Love Handles is a new Australian pop-rock band based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney creating melodic, guitar-driven songs inspired by classic sounds and vintage tones. Their music blends nostalgic warmth and modern energy, delivering hooks, harmonies and feel-good vibes.
They released their debut album Maybe I’m Dreaming in early 2026.
Their first album was recorded in the home studio of Ash, who used a variety of electric and acoustic guitars which he has collected over the years.
Some of the songs were written during the recording process, others were put together a long time ago before finally coming to life with this album. And some are a combination of parts written years back and last year.

ASHLEY DAVIES
Ash is the singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the band. He enjoys many different types of music, from rock to jazz to classical. Before forming Ash and the Love Handles he played in a number of cover bands.
